Things Get Spooky in Hailee Steinfeld's Haunting Music Video For "Afterlife"

Judging from the music video for "Afterlife," Hailee Steinfeld is ready for Halloween. The singer and actress, who released the song ahead of her new dramedy Dickinson on Apple TV+, debuted the video for the song on Monday.

It's a solidly spooky three and a half minutes, including footage of Steinfeld being painfully corseted inside a box, crawling around a dollhouse with giant eyes, and hanging out in a desert while wearing a top hat (as one does). Of course, there are also quite a few gorgeous shots of her lounging around a picturesque field and wearing see-through dresses (again, as one does).

Watch the video for "Afterlife" above, which just might replace "Capital Letters" as our new favourite.
