Laurie Strode and her crew are back for Halloween Kills [1], with extra help from a few new faces. 2018's Halloween [2] might have been a direct sequel to the 1978 classic, but it didn't end Michael Myers' story permanently — we're getting, in fact, a trilogy. The next two films will be directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green and Danny McBride. Originally set to come out in 2020, Halloween [3] Kills has been pushed back until Oct. 2021 [4], and the final movie, Halloween [5] Ends, is slated to come out Oct. 2022. Still, that doesn't mean that we're in the dark altogether. Plot-wise, the spooky follow-up will remain in Halloween of the year 2018 as Laurie and other survivors form a mob [6] against the mysterious killer. And other than the story, we have lots of details, including intel on the cast, which will include many familiar faces. Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode
Recently seen in Knives Out [7], scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her iconic role [8] as Laurie Strode. Laurie and her family burned down her house and left Michael for dead in the 2018 movie, and now he's back to enact revenge as his survivors come together.
Nick Castle as Michael Myers
Filmmaker Nick Castle returns to his 1978 role as Michael Myers [9], and it's likely that his role will be as minor as it was in the 2018 version. In 2018, he did the audio for Michael's creepy breathing sounds (like in the postcredits [10]) and briefly appeared in the window scene [11].
James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers
Though he was a headliner in the 2018 film, Castle held a role that was, in fact, really more of a cameo. In 2018, the majority of Michael's movements was done by actor and stuntman James Jude Courtney [12], who will continue starring as the creepy villain [13] in the sequel, as Castle confirmed on Twitter [14].
Judy Greer as Karen Nelson
Recently seen in the Ant-Man films [15], Judy Greer is back as Karen [16], Laurie's daughter who reconciles with her in the 2018 movie.
Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson
Previously appearing on Blue Bloods and Orange Is the New Black [17], Andi Matichak is also back as Allyson [18], Laurie's granddaughter and Karen's daughter.
Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion Chambers
Nancy Stephens returns as Nurse Marion Chambers [19], a role she took on not only in the original film, but also its sequels Halloween [20] II and Halloween [21] H20. Nurse Chambers infamously works with psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis.
Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace
Now known for being on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills [22], Kyle Richards originally played Lindsey Wallace [23], one of the kids that Laurie babysat in the 1978 Halloween [24]. While Richards wasn't in the 2018 film, she'll make an appearance in the new movie.
Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle
Anthony Michael Hall plays Tommy Doyle [25], one of the kids that Laurie babysat in 1978. Hall, best known for his roles in John Hughes movies like The Breakfast Club, will be taking over for Brian Andrews, the actor who portrayed Tommy as a child in the original film.
Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett
Charles Cyphers is back as the former sheriff of Haddonfield [26] who lost his daughter Annie in the 1978 killing spree. Cyphers last appeared in this role in Halloween [27] II.
Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam
Recently in Doctor Sleep [28], Robert Longstreet joins the cast as Lonnie Elam [29], the father of Allyson's ex-boyfriend Cameron.
