As a lengthy slideshow featuring photos of late stars like Penny Marshall, Luke Perry, Stan Lee, Rip Torn, Cameron Boyce, and Carol Channing played out on the screen behind the stage, Halsey — who made her Emmys debut earlier in the evening in a stunning pink and purple gown — sang an emotional, subdued version of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time."
