What can we say about Harry Styles's opening performance at the 2021 Grammy Awards [1]? There really are no words. The 27-year-old singer kicked off the show Sunday night with a seductive version of "Watermelon Sugar." From the moment he appeared on stage in a leather suit and feather boa [2], we were sold and also slightly in shock. Have you ever seen him look so good? Styles is only the fourth solo artist [3] to open the show, after Taylor Swift [4] in 2013 and 2016, Adele in 2017, and Lizzo [5] at last year's ceremony. He certainly deserves that honour — did you see him shaking his hips?! He really can move like Jagger.
This year marks the first time Styles has been nominated at the award show (shocking, we know). He earned a total of three nominations, including best pop solo performance for "Watermelon Sugar," best pop vocal album for Fine Line, and best music video for "Adore You," winning best pop solo performance.
