Rowan Blanchard and Auli'i Cravalho Find True Love in Hulu's New Rom-Com

If you've ever had a high school crush that didn't pan out like you wanted it to, allow Rowan Blanchard and Auli'i Cravalho to show you what could've been. On March 30, Hulu announced the release date for its new rom-com movie, "Crush," starring Cravalho and Blanchard as high school students navigating the world of romance and what it means to find true love.

The film, directed by Sammi Cohen, is written by Kirsten King and Casey Rackham. After sneaking a peek at a few photos from the movie, we already know it's going to give us all the butterfly-esque feelings of passing notes in class, hiding blush-tinted smiles in the hall, and all the secondhand fuzzy feelings that come with a quality rom-com. What Is "Crush" About?

Hulu's "Crush" follows the story of an aspiring young artist named Paige (Blanchard) who's forced to join her high school track team. But the opportunity works out in her favour when she realises she can use practice to hang out with the girl she's been crushing on forever. As she attempts to win over her crush, she quickly realises she's falling for an unexpected teammate named AJ (Cravalho) who helps her see what it means to experience true love. Like "To All the Boys I've Loved Before," "The Kissing Booth 3," and "He's All That," we can already tell "Crush" is going to deliver on all the feel-good rom-com moments we love.
