Sebastian Stan Has a Sick Appetite For Humans in Hulu's "Fresh"

Sebastian Stan [1] has his next role lined up, and this time, he's switching gears for Hulu's romance thriller "Fresh." The streamer released the upcoming film's trailer on Feb. 15, and the two-minute clip makes a compelling case for the dangers of dating complete strangers.

In the trailer, a fed-up Noa (played by Daisy Edgar-Jones [2]) has been striking out in the dating pool until she runs into a cute guy at the grocery store, Steve (played by Stan). All seems to be going quite well with the two after they go out on a date, but a romantic weekend getaway takes a turn for the worse when Steve reveals his unusual appetite that is clearly not for everyone.

Edgar-Jones and Stan — who's currently starring in Hulu's "Pam & Tommy" [3] — star in the horror flick alongside "Twenties" breakout actor Jonica T. Gibbs, who plays Noa's best friend. "Fresh" is a unique play on the "good guy gone bad" trope. Variety critic Peter Debruge referred to the movie as a "sick but satisfying" [4] film that "comes across as a carefree bit of bloody fun." "Fresh" premieres on Hulu on March 4.
