Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, and Jimmy Fallon Laugh Through an Absurd Soap Opera Spoof

Leave it to Jimmy Fallon [1], Kristen Wiig, and Will Ferrell [2] to go all in on a joint skit while social distancing. The trio of stars teamed up via video chat to spoof a soap opera aptly called The Longest Days of Our Lives during Wednesday night's at-home edition of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Falllon [3]. Wearing absurd wigs and using even more absurd accents, they acted out a scene in which Vanessa (Wiig) tells her lover Winston (Fallon) that she cheated on him with his brother. The revelation leads to Ferrell rotating disguises to act as Winston's various brothers until the three wind up virtually slapping each other through their screens. Yes, it's just as hilarious as you're likely imagining.

Soon after the overly dramatic slapping session, Wiig randomly changes character from Vanessa to a blonde named Melinda Charmin, the heiress to the Charmin toilet paper fortune who just so happens to be the daughter of both of them. Gotta love those highly unlikely soap opera twists! Watch the entire theatrical parody above to see them fake gasp and break character [5], and you'll likely have flashbacks to Saturday Night Live's The Californians skits [6].
