Justin Timberlake Joins Forces With SZA For "The Other Side," and It's a Freakin' Bop

Justin Timberlake [1] is officially out of the woods and back with more new music! On Wednesday, he dropped a collaboration with SZA called "The Other Side," and it's the bop we've been waiting for. The upbeat song was written for the Trolls World Tour film, which hits theatres on April 17. In the accompanying video, Timberlake and SZA are shown dancing in front of a fisheye lens, which is giving us major flashbacks to The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems" video with Mase and Diddy [2].

"I was so thrilled to be invited to participate in this project with Justin," SZA said in a statement [3]. "The creative process of working with him and the team was filled with such excitement. It's an energy you can feel in both the song and music video."

"It has been such a fun process writing and executive producing for this project," Timberlake added. "Being able to bring together different creatives from various disciplines and genres has been the most rewarding part. Creating something that serves the movie while still being able to exist apart from it has been a fun challenge that was made even more exciting by working with the other amazing artists that helped us put this together."

"The Other Side" comes less than a month after Timberlake dropped his "Believe" collaboration [5] with Meek Mill and two years since his Man of the Woods album. The Trolls World Tour soundtrack will be available on March 13.
