Watch Kaitlyn Bristowe's "Cowboy Take Me Away" Dance on DWTS

Kaitlyn Bristowe Honoured Her Late Childhood Best Friend in Emotional DWTS Performance

For the Dancing With The Stars semi-finals on Monday night, Kaitlyn Bristowe danced in honour of her late childhood best friend, Lindsay, who died in a tragic motor vehicle accident when she was just 17 years old. The former Bachelorette star and her partner Artem Chigvintsev moved beautifully to the tune of "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks, which was Lindsay's favourite song and even played at her funeral. The emotional performance earned Kaitlyn her second perfect score of the season, after receiving her first trio of 10s for her intoxicating dance to Britney Spears's "Toxic" last week.

Ahead of the episode on Nov. 16, Kaitlyn shared on her Instagram that she was dedicating her contemporary performance to her late best friend. "Lindsay LOVED to dance, and dancing was something that helped Bri [Kaitlyn's best friend] and I grieve when she passed," she wrote alongside childhood photos of the two. "It's a beautiful way to honour somebody and I will do that tonight. I'm still so close to her family and I know they will be watching tonight. I am honoured to use this stage to remember her and celebrate her legacy."

She continued, "She was such a unique soul, and she had such an impact on who I am today. She was the most unapologetic free spirit and we miss her every day. I know it's semi finals and of course I'm asking you to vote to be a part of the finale, but I'm also asking you to hug your friends and cherish the time you have together." Watch the breathtaking tribute above, and check out Kaitlyn's post ahead.
