We have good news and bad news, Killing Eve fans. First, the good news. You can officially mark your calendars and start mentally preparing yourselves, because we finally have a season three premiere date. BBC America announced that the tantalising spy drama's highly-anticipated third instalment will debut on Sunday, April 26 in the US, thus blessing us with the motivation to survive the rest of Winter. The bad news: it won't air in the UK until much later, in June. We know, the eight-week wait will be hell.

The US network spread the news by sharing the below teaser clip in which Villanelle (Jodie Comer) wistfully touches a piece of flowing red fabric, cut with quick shots of Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh). It's certainly not the full-length trailer we've been craving all these months, but hey, it's enough to make us start a daily countdown until the premiere date.

Killing Eve's second season wrapped up in Rome, where Eve and Villanelle planned to run away together, only for Villanelle to unexpectedly (but TBH, semi-expectedly, based on her erratic nature) shoot the MI6 operative in the back. Although the finale left Eve's fate unclear, we're delighted to confirm that she is, in fact, still alive, as seen in new season three photos also released by BBC America on Feb. 14. She'll appear alongside other returning characters, including Carolyn Martens (played by Fiona Shaw), as well as a few new season three cast members like Game of Thrones alum Gemma Whelan. We can't wait to see how much the plot thickens with these additions come April. In the meantime, we'll be theorising about the mysterious photos ahead.
