She stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon [3] on Tuesday night to share some truly profound spoilers from Disney's highly anticipated Frozen 2 [4], coming to theatres on 22 Nov.
In the snippet, Bell (who plays Anna in Frozen 2) talks about how proud she is of the film for delving into the idea of romantic love versus the platonic love between sisters that was explored in the first movie. She highlights how important it is for little boys to see brave male characters, like Kristoff, vocalising and being proud of their big vulnerable feelings.
"Kristoff has a song that is going to blow your mind," Bell said sharing some mild spoilers. "It's called 'Lost in the Woods' and it's about his big feelings for Anna. Little boys don't often see representation of other boys having really big loving feelings, and there's a line in the song that says 'You feel your feelings, and your feelings are real'." She continued by sharing that "he rescued Anna at one point and he's in the midst of battle. Then, he looks at her and the first thing he says is, 'I'm here, what do you need?' He doesn't say, 'stand back, I've got this,' and I stood up when I saw that and was like, does anyone know how profound that line is?" She added that in the end of the film, Anna apologises for something and Kristoff says, "It's okay, my love is not fragile." Watch the rest of the sweet interview above.
