Not Even the '60s Glam Can Distract From the Mindf*ck That Is the Last Night in Soho Trailer

A new psychological thriller will explore the dangers of romanticising prior decades and looking upon the past with rose-colored glasses. Also it looks like there's gonna be some really sick '60s fashions.

Directed by Edgar Wright — who previously delivered indie hits like Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Baby DriverLast Night in Soho follows an aspiring fashion designer enamoured with the 1960s who suddenly finds herself transported to the decade which turns out to be not as swinging as she thought. Thomasin McKenzie stars in the film alongside Matt Smith and Anya Taylor-Joy, who actually sings the cover of Petula Clark's "Downtown" playing in the trailer. Following several delays, it seems Last Night in Soho will finally be hitting theatres on 29 Oct. Watch the trailer for the surreal period piece above.
