It's been a busy week for Leigh-Anne Pinnock! Just days after she reportedly married footballer Andre Gray in Jamiaca, the singer has teased her debut solo single on Instagram. Posting futuristic visuals and an audio snippet of her new dance track, the mum-of-two simply captioned the video with the hashtag #leighanneiscoming.

With sparkling eyeshadow and curly hair, Pinnock can be seen walking across a black background with lights across her body. The single is available to pre-order on streaming platforms, the title being "DSL", although what this stands for is yet to be revealed. And fans were naturally sent into a frenzy. "Did you just hear me screaming?" one wrote, while another added, "It's sounds so good omggggg".

Pinnock is the first member of Little Mix to release solo music ahead of her bandmates, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, since the group announced they would be taking a break in 2022. But the friends are fully supporting each other's endeavours. Edwards immediately commented on Pinnock's post, writing: "Omg. I dieeeeeeeeeeee. The visuals. The vocals. The lewkkkk!" and Thirlwall added, "WE ARE READYYYYYYY". We love how the trio remain the best of friends.

Pinnock signed to Warner Records on 2 Feb. 2022 and has been busy working on her new music since the band finished their 10-year anniversary tour. Pinnock isn't the only one planning to be making solo music either, since Edwards was also recently spotted in the studio, working with one of Ed Sheeran's producers, Fred Again, and Thirlwall has signed with RCA Records.

Outside of the band, Pinnock has had a few different projects up her sleeve over the years, so we're not surprised to see her taking her solo career to the next level. In December 2021, the singer made her acting debut in Aml Ameen's "Boxing Day" film, shortly after releasing her very own documentary on colourism and racism in the music industry, titled "Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop & Power". And earlier this year, she narrated an adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" on Audible.

With fans likening Pinnock's music direction to that of Dua Lipa, we have no doubt that her solo career is about to take off big time. See the tease of Pinnock's solo music below.
