Mia Kirshner as Bethany
Kirshner, who has most recently been seen as Amanda Grayson on Star Trek: Discovery, is set to play Bethany, the owner of a successful financial services firm who goes too far in trying to secure her child's place in college. Aside from her recent role on Star Trek, Kirsher is probably best known as The L Word's Jenny and as Isobel Flemming-Saltzman from The Vampire Diaries.
Penelope Ann Miller as Caroline
Miller plays Caroline, a famous interior designer whose efforts to get her child into college cross way too many lines. Ironically enough, Miller, who has a length résumé in both film and television, has a connection to the real college admissions scandal: in 2015, she starred alongside Felicity Huffman [5] in the drama series American Crime.
Sarah Dugdale as Emma
As Emma, Dugdale plays one of the teenagers whose parents get caught engageing in illegal activity to get their children into elite colleges. Dugdale has had guest spots on several popular TV shows over the past few years, including Supernatural and Arrow.
Robert Moloney
Moloney has been working steadily for decades, although he's never quite had a breakout mainstream role. He's playing Jackson, father to Danny and another key player in this fictionalized version of the admissions scandal.
