Lindsay Lohan Dons a "Mean Girls"-Inspired Santa Suit to Drink Pepsi and Milk

Lindsay Lohan is throwing it back to her iconic "Mean Girls" Christmas song and dance in a new Pepsi ad. In the short spot, the actor wears an adorable Santa outfit, reminiscent of the one she, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried donned for their "Jingle Bell Rock" performance in their 2004 film. But maybe more interesting than her outfit is the drink Lohan makes — Pepsi and milk, aka a "Dirty Pepsi."
In the clip, Lohan pours Pepsi into her glass. "Nice," she says. Then she pours milk on top and says, "Oo, naughty." She puts a straw in the glass and then says, "Pepsi and milk. Pilk!" before taking a sip. "That is one dirty soda," she adds. Pepsi suggests leaving out "Pilk and cookies" for Santa Claus.
The idea of mixing Pepsi and milk has gone viral on Twitter and TikTok in recent months, with some people coining the "Dirty Pepsi" phrase, but the recipe has been floating around online much longer than that. Many have attributed the initial popularity of the drink to people in Utah, where alcoholic drinks are less popular because so many people are Mormons. Many have pointed out that putting milk in soda creates, essentially, an ice cream float.
Pepsi released other videos with their new ad, including one where Lohan sneaks up on Santa after he creates the drink for himself. Pepsi is also launching the #PilkandCookies sweepstakes where fans can win cash for posting photos and videos of themselves drinking a Dirty Pepsi on social media. The brand even shared a handful of "recipes" with suggestions for how to put a twist on the drink. The "Naughty & Ice" calls for a cup of whole milk, a tablespoon of heavy cream, and a tablespoon of vanilla creamer mixed with regular Pepsi. The "Cherry on Top" suggests mixing half a cup of two percent milk, two tablespoons of heavy cream, and two tablespoons of caramel creamer with Pepsi Wild Cherry.
This year, Lohan is all about the "Mean Girls" references. For her Netflix holiday film, "Falling For Christmas," she recorded a new version of herself singing "Jingle Bell Rock." The actor also recently talked to Seyfried for Interview Magazine and discussed the possibility of a "Mean Girls" sequel, which they said they'd love to do but would probably be hard to make at this point.
