The cast of Lizzie McGuire [3] is back together again! On Monday, Hilary Duff [4] shared a video of the stars of the Disney Channel series doing a virtual table read of the episode "Between a Rock and a Bra Place" from season one: you know, the one where Lizzie yells at her mom that she wants a bra. Duff was also joined by Lalaine (Miranda), Adam Lamberg (Gordo), Jake Thomas (Matt), Ashlie Brillault (Kate), Robert Carradine (Sam), Hallie Todd (Jo), Davida Williams (Claire), and Kyle J. Downes (Larry). In addition to reading through the script, the cast couldn't help but sing the iconic theme song as well.
A handful of stars recently reunited for the Lizzie McGuire reboot [5] on Disney Plus. Thomas, Carradine, Todd, and Lamberg were set to join Duff on the new show before it was put on hiatus due to creative differences [6]. As a result, the show's original creator, Terri Minsky, stepped down as showrunner. Here's hoping they can "figure it out on the way" or at least do another virtual table read.
