Allow Lizzo to Get BTS's "Butter" Stuck in Your Head All Over Again

Lizzo continues to be a proud member of the BTS Army. The singer recently appeared on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" to promote her forthcoming fourth album, and during a musical segment, she gave the group's "Butter" a fresh spin with the help of Filipino American vocal group The Filharmonic. "BTS! Period," Lizzo said at the end of the a cappella performance.

This wasn't her first time covering the hit single: Lizzo previously performed a funk rendition of "Butter" during her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge appearance in September 2021. Then, a few months later, she attended a Harry Styles concert in Los Angeles with the K-pop group, calling them her "besties" in an Instagram caption.

During the sit-down interview portion of the "Late Late Show" episode, Lizzo shared a snippet of her upcoming single, titled "About Damn Time," which she'll release on April 14 ahead of her "Saturday Night Live" episode later that week. Lizzo also confirmed that her fourth studio album is ready to go in a SXSW keynote address on March 13. "It's done, so it's coming very very soon," she said, "and it's good. I worked real hard on it, so it better be good."
