Love Island: 7 Casa Amor Moments That Changed Everything This Series

02/08/2021 - 11:42 AM

The time finally came for Casa Amor [1], and it did not disappoint — and it didn't take long for the drama to kick off either. Early in the morning, the Love Island villa [2] boys were treated to a secret escape (presumably down the road) to the iconic Casa Amor, in order to put their relationships to the test. One couple in particular though seemed to have been "put through" the biggest test of all, and it's had fans of the show everywhere pretty much ready to rip their hair out. Liam and Millie seemed to be going so strong, but one slip up led to approximately five or six more, and now Liam is basically begging Millie for forgiveness.

Aside from Liam and Millie, Casa Amor (once again) saw Toby's head turn, Jake egging the boys on to cheat (seemingly to get a hold of that sweet 50k prize), and our once-enamoured Tyler tossing Kaz to the side in favour of his new favourite, Clarisse. It's safe to say that a lot has happened in the past few days, and it's been difficult at times to keep up with the latest news. To ensure that everyone stays in the loop, we've rounded up the most pivotal moments from this year's Casa Amor that changed this series of Love Island forever.

Teddy Being the Ultimate Gentleman, Despite Faye Thinking the Worst

Despite the fact that Teddy did, in fact, kiss a girl outside of a challenge, he pretty much stayed loyal to Faye the entire time. He slept on the daybed, he didn't kiss anyone else, and his head remained firmly unturned. Unfortunately for Faye though, she caught a glimpse of Teddy's one meaningless kiss and decided to crack on with new boy, Sam.

Tyler's Head-Turning Connection With Clarisse

Tyler, who you might remember as the boy who "only had eyes for Kaz", must've managed to find some new eyes, in the form of Casa Amor girl Clarisse. It didn't take long for the pair to begin sharing a bed, and by the time that Tyler got back to the villa, his head had pretty much done a complete 360-degree turn.

Liam and Lillie's "Lad's Holiday" Romance, That Didn't Quite Make it to the Villa

Liam had us all believe that his heart was set on Millie, until he entered the Casa Amor villa, that is. He quickly developed a pretty meaningful connection with Lillie, but it sadly wasn't meaningful enough for him to bring her back to the villa. Liam quickly slipped back into place with Millie, but thankfully the producers of the show weren't willing to let him get away with it that easily . . .

Jake Being Super Encouraging . . . of the Boys Cracking on With New Girls

Jake remained loyal to his girlfriend Liberty during the entirety of the Casa Amor experience. Who he didn't remain loyal to though was basically women everywhere, because he continually encouraged all of his friends to test the waters with the new girls. Some fans think it was a sneaky attempt at keeping the 50k prize close to home, but others think that may be a bit far-fetched for Jake. Whatever the reason, we must admit that we're pretty disappointed.

Love Island Producers Sending the Ultimate Postcard

There's been a lot of discussion on Twitter about the misleading postcard that was sent from Casa Amor to the OG villa, and rightly so. Despite the picture of Tyler in bed with another girl, and Toby kissing Mary, the postcard seemed to ignite unnecessary paranoia in the girls, leading them to act in ways that they really didn't need to.

Teddy was seen kissing Clarisse outside of a challenge (but still within a game), which led Faye to couple up with new boy Sam, even though Teddy was sleeping on the day bed. Liam's "antics" were disguised as him simply sharing a bed with another girl, leaving Millie filled with trust that she absolutely shouldn't have had.

Kaz Knowing Her Worth and Being a Legend, as Per Usual

After Kaz saw the picture of Tyler not only sharing a bed with Clarisse but going in for a kiss, she pretty quickly decided that he wasn't worth her time. Fans at home were ecstatic about Kaz's decision, and we're all looking forward to seeing how her newfound romance with Matthew continues to blossom.

Toby's Head Being Turned for the Fourth Time

Toby suddenly feels like one of those tragic characters in a film that you can't help but laugh at. His Love Island journey began with him being coupled up with Kaz, who he then left for Chloe, who he then left for Abi, who he's now left for new girl Mary. Still with us? We thought so.
