"Love Island" is our not-so-guilty pleasure. With the extra winter "Love Island" series currently on our screens, and the first hosted by Maya Jama, we've been consumed with Casa Amor drama, recouplings, and Jama's outfits. While we become obsessed with the relationships, there is another element of the reality show that has been thrust into the spotlight: the editing blunders.

The episode which aired on 21 Feb. seemed to show Islander Tanya Manhenga suddenly change from a black fitted maxi dress to a denim minidress causing viewers to comment on the seemingly bizarre out-of-sequence switch. "Wait when did Tanya put the denim outfit on? Hahahaha," one tweeted. Others took to social media to comment on the show being staged.

Now, we know there is a little nudge from producers regarding who the Islanders should speak to, but it's a tough gig to work on the show. Reality TV thrives on its fast-paced editing, so surely we can forgive a little slip-up here and there. With the Islanders being filmed 24/7, there is a lot of work to be done post-production to fit into the neat hour-long slot. And if truth be told, we love an editing blunder.

Over the years, there's been disappearing heads, super-quick clothes changes, and even teleportation across series seven and eight. Ahead, take a look at the hilarious "Love Island" scenes that are not as seamless as you first thought.

Catch "Love Island" every night on ITV and ITVX at 9pm.
