Love Island Christmas Reunion 2019 Has Been Cancelled

The Love Island Christmas Reunion Is Cancelled, but the Winter Series Is Almost Here

We regret to inform you that the Love Island 2019 Christmas Reunion will not be taking place. This means, no sussing out if Maura and Curtis's romance is the real deal, no witnessing as Amber roasts Greg O'Shea, and no swooning over Ovie Soko one last time. But there is some good news. . .

There has only been one Love Island Christmas Reunion within the past five years, so this doesn't come as a complete shocker. However, the brand new Winter Love Island might be airing sooner than we think, equipped with a new villa in the gorgeous coastal port city of Cape Town, South Africa. ITV2 Love Island's presenter, Caroline Flack, is currently in Cape Town filming the promo for Love Island Series 6 — or as we know it, the first ever Winter Love Island.

Flack has been 'gramming away this past week as she, and a friend, take some personal time between shooting to appreciate the gorgeous views, food, and adorable penguins on the Western Cape. Flack took to her Instagram stories to share: "We have just landed in Cape Town for Winter Love Island. We are not sure what to expect, we don't usually film it in the winter do we?" — so grab your grafting boots, and get ready to crack on.

Love Island Winter 2020 is rumoured to air on Jan. 8, 2020, exclusively on ITV2.
