Fresh off the release of his fifth studio album Papi Juancho, Maluma made his grand return to the MTV VMAs stage on Sunday. Clad in a yellow suit, the 26-year-old Latin superstar virtually transported us to paradise with his energetic performance of his hit song, "Hawái." Though the track is about a failed romance, Maluma seemed anything but sad as he took over the remote stage. The performance marked Maluma's second time performing at the ceremony following his 2018 debut, where he made history as the first solo Latin artist to sing a full song in Spanish. Maluma also took home his first Moon Person for best Latin for his song "Qué Pena" with J Balvin.
