Wearing a sexy black dress, the 27-year-old singer strutted her stuff as she crooned the lyrics about letting go of past loves [3]. Of course, one of the best moments of the performance was when she ripped off the skirt of her dress and swung on a disco ball. Anyone else getting wrecking ball flashbacks? The new track, which dropped on Aug. 13, seems to chronologize her most publicized romances [4] over the past year as she makes references to exes Liam Hemsworth, Kaitlynn Carter [5], and Cody Simpson. Seeing that she performed her emotional breakup song [6] "Slide Away" during the show last year [7], her latest performance about embracing the single life really brings things full-circle.
