When it comes to acceptance speeches, the cast of Minari certainly knows how to tug at the heartstrings with their genuine earnestness and shock. During Sunday night's SAG Awards, Yuh-Jung Youn was stunned as she accepted the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a supporting role. "I don't know how to describe my feelings. I'm being recognised by westerners," she said. Despite being relatively new to American audiences, Yuh-Jung Youn's career has spanned over five decades in South Korea.
"It is very, very honoured . . . especially by my actor fellow choose me as a supporting actress," Youn added. She is also nominated for best supporting actress at the Academy Awards for her role as Soonja in Minari. You can watch her heartwarming speech in the full video above.
