Mindy Kaling's New Netflix Show, Never Have I Ever, Already Has Us Cracking Up

Still missing The Mindy Project? Well, Netflix's new show Never Have I Ever is about to become your new TV obsession. The series, which is executive produced by Mindy Kaling and loosely based on her life, centres around a first-generation Indian American girl named Devi (played by newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) as she navigates the struggles of high school, boys, and adolescence. And if the first glimpse is any indication, we're in for a lot of laughs. As Devi gets ready for the first day of sophomore year, she hilariously prays for everything, from thinner arm hair to a boyfriend who is a "stone-cold hottie." Yep, we can definitely see Kaling's humour shine through. Watch the first look at the series before it premieres on April 27.
