We kind of suspect that Nick Kroll intended this series to be watched while high.

In this hilariously weird series, a former mole woman, an outrageous out-of-work actor, an eccentric landlord, and a delusional divorcée bumble through dysfunctional relationships and life in New York City. The catchy theme song alone will delight anyone with a buzz.

Grace & Frankie
Grace & Frankie revolves around two nemeses-turned-BFFs who both flee to their shared beach house property after their husbands leave them (for each other), and they must learn to live together, despite their very different personalities. If Frankie doesn't become your new pot-loving icon, then you're nuts.

This very silly series follows a dysfunctional group of roommates who are bonded by career disappointments, family disputes, and relationship complications (oftentimes involving each other). The show is hilarious enough on its own, but it somehow becomes absolutely riotous when you're high as a kite.

In this dark comedy, Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) is a widowed mother of two trying to make some extra money by selling weed in her suburban neighbourhood while simultaneously navigating an endless parade of problematic men. If you need a sex-positive, pro-weed role model in your life, then this show is for you.

American Vandal
This true crime satire revolves around amateur filmmakers Peter and Sam as they take on teenage deviants — such as a phallic-tagging prankster and the mystery "Turd Burglar" — at local high schools. Is it bizarre as heck? Yes. Does it pair perfectly with weed? You betcha.

This long-running Canadian mockumentary revolves around three residents of a Nova Scotia trailer park — Julian, Ricky, and Bubbles — as they attempt get-rich-quick schemes and generally create a lot of trouble for all of their fellow residents. In this trippy tech-gone-wrong series, every episode tells a new story of everyday individuals taking on (and being tortured by) questionable technology. This one is especially wild when you're smoking bud, but if you have a tendency to feel paranoid while high, avoid this series at all costs.

This insanely popular sci-fi series follows an adolescent crew living in 1980s Indiana as they discover supernatural forces, secret government threats, and a young girl with telekinetic powers. It's a crazy trip, but — just like with Black Mirror — if you suffer from paranoia, you might just find yourself searching for the Demogorgon around every corner.

Love, Death, & Robots
Produced by Tim Miller and David Fincher, this adult animated series fluctuates between sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and dark comedy — as well as from 2D to photo-real 3D CGI — to tell 18 thought-provoking stories that will make you see robots in a whole new light. We guarantee that it's stranger and cooler than anything else you've ever seen, and we can only hope that Netflix gives us more of this hypnotic fever dream of a show.

Chewing Gum
Chewing Gum is one of quirkiest shows on Netflix, following naive and sexually inexperienced Brit Tracey Gordon (Michaela Coel) as she attempts to learn more about sex, despite coming from an ultrareligious family. Like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and New Girl, this wonderfully weird series is best watched while under the influence.

BoJack Horseman
This adult animated comedy follows the titular BoJack, a humanoid horse who was once the star of a '90s sitcom, but is now a boozed-up, washed-up D-lister hoping to make a Hollywood comeback. Believe it or not, a substance-abusing talking horse makes a lot more sense when you add weed.

F Is For Family
This raunchy adult comedy, which is inspired by the life of stand-up comic Bill Burr, revolves around a short-tempered airport worker Frank Murphy, his wife Sue, and their three kids as they grow up (and make trouble) in a 1970s suburb. We can't explain why adult cartoons are even funnier with bud, but it's just a fact.

Nailed It!
This Netflix cooking competition — where amateur bakers attempt to recreate elaborate cakes for cash prizes and often find themselves subject to hilarious baking fails — was basically created to make us feel better about all of our Pinterest disappointments. Though the end results are way less pretty than those you'll find on The Great British Baking Show [22], you'll probably still be left craving some cake.

Tuca & Bertie
This adult animated comedy revolves around two 30-year-old bird women — a carefree toucan and an anxious songbird — who live in the same apartment building. Though this one was criminally cancelled after one season, that doesn't make it any less side-splitting (especially when paired with a spliff).
