So, Netflix's New Show About Teenage Bounty Hunters Looks Kiiind of Incredible

The trailer for Netflix's new Teenage Bounty Hunters series [1] — released on July 30 — follows 16-year-old fraternal twins Sterling (Maddie Phillips) and Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini) Wesley as they team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) to uncover hidden secrets about their small Southern community, all while making it back to school in time for study hall. So, yep, if you're a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer [2], Chilling Adventures of Sabrina [3], or Veronica Mars [4], this is a must-add to your Watch Later list.

Sterling and Blair come from a wealthy family and attend a Christian high school, where the twins are seen as anything but similar. While Sterling is a quick-witted overachiever who takes school seriously, Blair is "outspoken, opinionated and an overall non-conformist." Together, the sisters turn Bowser's life upside down and make a name for themselves as they chase after wanted criminals.

Phillips and Fellini will also be joined on screen by Myles Evans as Miles Taylor, Blair's love interest, and Spencer House as Luke Creswell, Sterling's boyfriend. Additional cast members include Devon Hales as perfectionist April Stevens; Shirley Rumierk as bail bond agent Yolanda Carrion; Cliff "Method Man" Smith as Bowser's rival bounty hunter Terrance Coin; Mackenzie Astin as the girls' father, Anderson Wesley; and Virginia Williams as the girls' mother, Debbie Wesley.

The 10-episode series, written and created by Kathleen Jordan, premieres on Netflix on Aug. 14. In the meantime, check out the trailer here to see what kind of drama the Wesley sisters are really dealing with.
