Netflix Is Bringing All the Romance (And a Bit of Horror) With The Films Coming in February

There may only be 28 days in February, but Netflix is still delivering tons of new content this month. You can expect to see TK new and old films hitting the streaming service throughout February, including the third and final movie in the To All the Boys I've Loved Before franchise [1], an intimate documentary about the art of pole dancing, and the highly anticipated romance starring John David Washington and Zendaya [2]. With new offerings from Poland, Spain, Italy, Taiwan, Korea, China, France, Indonesia, and Sweden — as well as some old Hollywood hits like Magic Mike and Along Came Polly — here are all the movies you can look forward to streaming throughout February.

Mean Girls

A film that needs to introduction, the iconic high school film starring Lindsay Lohan [4], Amanda Seyfried [5], Lacey Chabert, and Rachel McAdams [6] as the unforgettable Regina George is coming to Netflix to help us through our lockdown ennui.

Strip Down, Rise Up

This documentary — directed by Academy Award-nominated director Michèle Ohayon — aims to share a whole new perspective on the world of pole dancing. The film follows women from all walks of life join a six-month dance class, intent on exploring their sexuality and getting in touch with their sensuality. Beyond the physical aspect of learning to dance, the women unexpectedly come together to confront body shame, lifelong fears, loss, trauma, and heartbreak. "It's a journey of growth and self-discovery," one student said before another added, "You feel a side of yourself that you've never felt."

The Misadventures of Hedi and Cokeman

Magic Mike

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Magic Mike attracts viewers with the promise of Matthew McConaughey [24], Channing Tatum [25], and Alex Pettyfer stripping. Like its leading gentlemen characters, it's nuanced. It has a whip-smart script that complements its libidinal appeal.
