The streaming service has already announced five new movies dropping throughout July, including an adaptation of a Jojo Moyes novel [1] starring Shailene Woodley, another Christina Milian-led rom-com [2], and DreamWorks Animation's first feature film exclusively being distributed by Netflix, among others. Whether you're looking to spend a hot July day watching a romance, a thriller, or a supernatural horror, this month's new selections have something for everyone, and here's what you should know about July's titles ahead of their release.

Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans

Resort to Love

Christina Milian stars in this rom-com as Erica, an aspiring pop singer who lands a resident gig at a luxurious island resort in East Africa, not realising that her ex-fiancé (played by Jay Pharoah) is planning on getting married there.

The Last Mercenary

Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, this funny French action flick follows a former secret service agent who's forced to return to France after the government mistakenly accuses his estranged son of arms and drug trafficking.

The Last Letter From Your Lover
