Hello, 2020, and hello to a whole bunch of new Netflix original series. While plenty of our old favourites are returning with new seasons in January, you can expect to see just as many exciting originals debut this month. You can look forward to a second season of Sex Education, a third season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a sixth season of Grace and Frankie, and a whole lot more. Though we'll have to say goodbye to The Ranch and Anne With an E this month, Netflix is softening the blow with these 26 debuts, and we are so ready for the new year.
Based on the classic novel of the same name by Bram Stoker, this BBC One and Netflix production comes from Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, the same brains behind Sherlock and Doctor Who. Set in 18th-century Belgium, this historical drama series follows the real-life story of the charming Flemish highwayman Jan de Lichte, who led a revolt against the aristocracy during the Austrian occupation.
