Normani Confirms Her Debut Album Is Halfway Done, but Don't Expect It Before 2020

Normani's single "Motivation" set the music industry abuzz last month, and the 23-year-old singer plans to continue breaking ground with her upcoming debut solo album. The former Fifth Harmony member recently appeared on the Zach Sang Show and laid out her plans for the highly anticipated record, including a tentative number of tracks (14!) and release year. Sorry, eager fans. It won't be coming till 2020.

"I want to make sure that this album is very dynamic," she said. "There's so many different dimensions to me, not only as an artist but as a person."

In addition to her exciting new album, Normani said she plans on taking her songs back on the road.
