Netflix has debuted its newest original series, Raising Dion, produced by Michael B. Jordan and starring Alisha Wainwright and Ja'Siah Young. Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu, Nicole Reese (Alisha Wainwright) is a recently widowed mother to her son, Dion (Ja'Siah Young), only Dion isn't just any regular kid — he has superpowers. The show surrounds Nicole and her efforts to raise Dion while also offering a light into Dion's world and how his powers affect him.
