Netflix has debuted its newest original series, Raising Dion, produced by Michael B. Jordan and starring Alisha Wainwright and Ja'Siah Young. If you haven't started watching yet, I'll give you a quick refresher. Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu, Nicole Reese (Alisha Wainwright) is a recently widowed mother to her son, Dion (Ja'Siah Young), only Dion isn't just any regular kid — he has superpowers. The show surrounds Nicole and her efforts to raise Dion while also offering a light into Dion's world and how his powers affect him.
