Not everything is as it seems on the set of Riverdale [1]. In an "Open Door" tour for Architectural Digest, Madelaine Petsch, aka Cheryl Blossom [2], revealed a few secrets that spoil the magic behind the screen just a little. For instance, the doughnuts at Pop's Diner are more like dog toys covered in sugar than a sweet treat, Riverdale [3] High has a set of stairs that lead to nowhere, and all the beautiful suburban scenes we see through the set windows are the product of one especially huge curtain. With the midseason premiere airing on Jan. 22, we can only imagine what other surprises [4] the show has in store.
