Host Saweetie Freezes Up the MTV EMAs Stage With an Icy 3-Song Performance
Is it cold in here, or is that Saweetie in a giant snowflake hitting the MTV EMAs stage? I know that's right. The host of this year's award show floated down to an iced-out stage following an opening performance by Ed Sheeran on Sunday night. Before we could catch our breaths, Saweetie performed a medley of her hits, featuring "Tap In" and "Best Friend" alongside her dancers, The Icy Girls, live at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
The host performed in a bejewelled catsuit with a standout red ponytail and crystal boots, completing the look with a crystallised microphone (naturally). This opening ensemble was a step away from her red carpet look, a more fiery affair in a black-and-brown ombré Givenchy dress, proving she did not come to play when it came to her fashion for the evening.
