Watch Alexis's Best Schitt's Creek Scenes

Alexis Rose's 10 Funniest Moments Throughout Schitt's Creek

From the moment Alexis Rose came into the scene with her dangly wrists and quotable lines about kissing Jared Leto and jetting off to Thailand, I knew I found a character I would love until the end of forever. But what's so great about Alexis on Schitt's Creek is that her character went through such a beautiful evolution during the six seasons of the show. From a shallow, privileged girl to an educated, successful, and independent woman, she went through it all and made us laugh along the way. Ahead, find 10 of my favourite Alexis scenes from Schitt's Creek, which doesn't even scratch the surface of all my favourites. They will, though, show you that character arc that was done so well by Annie Murphy, over the course of six years.

I love that both David and Alexis have bike scenes in the show, which kinda puts the whole privileged upbringing that didn't include a lot of bike riding into perspective. Alexis's reaction to Mutt giving her a bike is so dramatic and she does such a lovely job of masking her disgust.

I love all the times Alexis drops in those bombs about how amazing her life is — like when she mentions here that she likes David's sweater because Jared Leto gave it to him and he was her first kiss. But this scene and her overdramatics with being sick just kill me. She just wants some juice, OK?!

This is such a good sibling scene, but Alexis's reaction to David trying to scare her when they're going to bed is honestly so good. The way she says, "Dadddddduhh" and then tells David he's a d*ck is so relatable for all sisters with pesky brothers.

I just love when Alexis starts to come into her own with her schooling and finds her footing in the working world. Here is when she tries to tell David about "sweat equity" and asks if he needs help in the store. She also tries really hard to wink, and I may never stop laughing.

The moment Alexis meets Patrick, it's almost like she can tell he's going to be important, and it seems clear that he knows she'll be important. Their meeting is low-key, but I love that you can see in her face that Patrick might be sticking around. I also love that this is when she tells David she wants to sell hair feathers and festival jewellery at Rose Apothecary.

Ted and Alexis's scenes are always so sweet — he's so cute with her. In this one, Ted is adorably trying to help Alexis get her volunteer hours for school but she has an issue with skin tags and can't deal with old people, but she's game to try. Character growth!

Welp, Alexis may or may not have gotten lice from school and she can't stop itching. This is one of those quick yet funny scenes that isn't over the top but gives Alexis time to throw in a couple fun lines (like "This is the last time I take a pity selfie with Kelsey" aka the horse girl).

I love this scene for a couple reasons. I absolutely love powerful Alexis showing off the event she organised and led but I also love her connection with Ted in this scene and how vulnerable she gets.

Obviously this is perhaps the best Alexis scene in all of Schitt's Creek. The real song became a hit in its own right — with Annie Murphy actually singing to her full ability — but it's even better when Alexis gets really into it with her lack of talent.

This scene truly broke my heart. I was really rooting for Ted and Alexis, but alas, they weren't meant to be. Not only is their breakup just so beautifully handled but the amount of growth it showed in Alexis's character was such a stunning arc for her character.
