Selena Gomez [1] dropped her highly anticipated album, Rare [2], on Jan. 10 and spoiled fans with another gift: a music video for the title song! On Friday, the 27-year-old singer released the stunning "Rare" visuals, and it's just as dreamy as you'd expect from the wispy tune. The shimmery clip shows Gomez donning a couple of goddess-like gowns while singing in an imaginative forest as rainbows, butterflies, and sparkles burst with colour.
In the song, Gomez croons of recognising her value — a running theme throughout her LP, which also features hits "Lose You to Love Me [3]" and "Look at Her Now [4]." In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine, the songstress spoke about her journey toward self-love [5]. "That's something I work on continuously," she told the outlet [6]. "But I feel so empowered because I've gained so much knowledge about what was going on mentally." Watch Gomez step into her confidence in the "Rare" video above!
