Meet "Selling Sunset" Star Vanessa Villela's Fiancé, Nick Hardy
Vanessa Villela joined the cast of "Selling Sunset" in season four and almost immediately seemed right at home with the Oppenheim Group. The former Mexican soap star quickly bonded with Chrishell Stause, who had roles on "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives" before getting into real estate, but also found friends elsewhere on the team — even as conflicts between the other agents came to a head. But while Villela may have been a quiet presence on the show before, a new romance might just have people talking in season five.
Though Villela was dating her now-fiancé Nick Hardy (professionally known as Tom Fraud) when filming for season four took place, the show never revealed any information about him or their relationship. The two first connected in October 2020, according to a post on Hardy's Instagram, and have seemingly been inseparable ever since. The pair got engaged at the beginning of this year. "I can't believe I manifested you," Villela wrote, alongside photos and video of Hardy's proposal.
Now that Villela is openly engaged, Hardy will no doubt factor into her spot on "Selling Sunset" and viewers will certainly want to know more about him. According to his website, Hardy is a photographer who specialises in storytelling and previously worked as a "creative director at one of London's leading photo agencies." One scroll through his Instagram will tell you that he loves to photograph his partner, Villela. But Hardy also frequently shares his professional work, including black-and-white photos, as well as high-contrast colour images. His online portfolio includes commercial work for New Era, JD, PowerBar, and more.
Hardy created the pseudonym Tom Fraud to describe a way of life, writing on Instagram that it represents art and freedom. He describes it further on his website, writing that Tom Fraud "represents the dreamers and believers who follow their heart, instincts and desires. The 'outside the box' thinkers who break all the rules!"
