When you think of Christmas, "sexy" probably isn't the first adjective that comes to mind. But as wonderful as the holidays are, they also involve a fair amount of stress, shopping, and family drama, and a dose of sexiness may be exactly what you need to take the edge off. There aren't many, but there are definitely some Christmas flicks out there that are far more horny than corny, so if you're feeling like the Grinch, it may be time to watch one of these 14 sexy holiday movies. It's the most wonderful time of the year, after all — shouldn't that involve at least a little sexiness?

1. Love Actually

Haters can say what they want, but Love Actually — which follows 10 intertwined stories in the five weeks leading up to Christmas — is a sexy holiday tale for the ages. The cast of this rom-com includes Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, and basically every British actor you know as they sleep around, fall in love, and basically make the holidays sexier than you ever imagined.

2. The Holiday

What happens when a down-on-her-luck English woman (played by Kate Winslet) agrees to switch homes over the holidays with an unlucky-in-love Californian (played by Cameron Diaz)? As well as a change of scenery, both ladies get a chance encounter with a new man (Jack Black and Jude Law, respectively), and while this movie is more romantic than sexy, there are still a few choice scenes that are sure to make your heart race.

3. Reindeer Games

This sizzling crime thriller stars Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron as Rudy and Ashley, lovers who meet through a prison pen-pal program. But before they can start their new life together, Ashley's crazy criminal brother threatens their happiness when his crew decides Rudy has information they need. Okay, so it's not a traditional Christmas movie, but it's set during the holidays and features robbers in Santa hats (and the raciest scene ever accompanied by a classic Christmas tune), so it definitely qualifies.

4. Bad Santa

You may not think of Santa as sexy, but when he's played by a hard-drinking, sex-loving Billy Bob Thornton, then old St. Nicholas suddenly looks pretty hot. This dark comedy also stars Lauren Graham as a woman with a Santa fetish, and when she meets reluctant department store Santa Willie, the holidays are made a whole lot hotter.

5. Bad Santa 2

Though Lauren Graham isn't a part of the sequel, Billy Bob Thornton reprises his role as Willie, who's just as up for mischief as in the first film — and finds a new love interest in a naughty charity founder played by Christina Hendricks.

6. The Best Man Holiday

In this holiday-themed sequel to 1999's The Best Man, the whole gang (which includes the incredibly sexy foursome of Taye Diggs, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, and Morris Chestnut) is reunited to celebrate friendship and family — and experience a lot of drama, tension, sex, and nudity along the way.

7. Bridget Jones's Diary

While also not technically a Christmas movie, Bridget Jones's Diary is framed around Christmas, both beginning and ending around the holidays — though plenty of madcap adventures take place in between those two Christmases. This flick is full of sex, profanity, and hilarity, but nothing is quite as hot as the sight of Colin Firth in a reindeer jumper at the Christmas party where he and Bridget first meet.

8. The Family Stone

Meeting the family for the first time is never easy, and it's definitely not easy if your first time is over the holidays — and your boyfriend's brother happens to be extremely hot. We don't blame you, Sarah Jessica Parker. Your boyfriend can't expect you not to stray when he has Luke Wilson for a brother.

9. Just Friends

Starring Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart, a geeky-teen-turned-successful-record-executive returns to his hometown over the holidays 10 years later to tell his best friend that he is still in love with her (and his seriously sexy but totally goofy pop star girlfriend, played by Anna Faris, tags along). Like The Holiday, it's definitely more sexy than romantic, but with a cast this hot, you can't help but swoon.

10. This Christmas

In this musical rom-com based on based on the 1970 Donny Hathaway song of the same name, a family matriarch gathers her family all together for the first time in four years — though of course, bringing everyone together also means that lots of secrets come to light for the first time about who's been sleeping with who. Oh, and did we mention that sexiest man alive Idris Elba stars in this one?

11. El Camino Christmas

This absurd romp (starring Dax Shepherd, Tim Allen, and Jessica Alba) follows five strangers who find themselves barricaded inside of a liquor store during a supposed robbery on Christmas Eve, and if that doesn't sound like a typical Christmas movie to you, you're right — but the result is still surprisingly sexy and fun.

12. Eyes Wide Shut

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman star in this erotic drama as a couple who become dangerously involved in a world of sexual rituals and secret societies. We know what you're thinking: "Wait, this isn't a Christmas movie!" But while it mainly revolves around AIDS, child prostitution, adultery, secret sex societies, and drugs, this '90s flick does open on a lavish Christmas party and Christmas decorations are found just about everywhere, so it totally counts.

13. Die Hard

We're still not totally convinced that Die Hard is a Christmas movie (much less the "perfect" Christmas movie), but there's no denying that it does have all the elements of a classic holiday movie: a villain in need of some Christmas spirit, a dad desperate to make it home for Christmas Eve despite a snow storm, and a sweaty, muscled Bruce Willis in tight tank tops. (Okay, maybe that last one isn't so typical of holiday classics, but it's definitely hot.)

14. A Bad Moms Christmas

This underrated gem slid under the radar when it came out in 2017, but this sequel to the 2016 film Bad Moms brings back the dream team of Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn for more bad mom behaviour — this time over the holidays. With erotic dancers, sexy Santas, and three hot moms desperate to blow off some steam during the stress of the holidays, you know that things are going to get pretty naughty.
