SNL "Grouch (Joker Parody)" Sketch Video

David Harbour Becomes Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch in Creepy Joker-Inspired SNL Skit

Saturday Night Live put an unexpected spin on the new thriller Joker during its Oct. 12 episode. With all of the buzz surrounding the film, an SNL sketch was inevitable. We just didn't know it would involve a mashup of the clown-inspired character and . . . Sesame Street. Yep, host David Harbour assumed the role of Oscar the Grouch as the skit detailed his journey from being a trashman to becoming "The Grouch," who resides in a rubbish bin. "If everyone calls you trash and everyone treats you like trash, why don't you just become trash?" he says before singing a haunting rendition of Sesame Street's theme song, "Sunny Days." Oddly enough, it looks like it could be a real movie, though we're not sure if we need a full-fledged Oscar the Grouch drama. This hilariously chilling sketch will suffice.
