SNL Pokes Fun at Pilot Pete and "30 Sobbing Hannahs" in a Ridiculously Spot-On Bachelor Skit
Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor is no doubt a messy one, which is probably why Saturday Night Live jumped at the chance to parody it. NBC's late-night sketch show is no stranger to a reality TV spoof, especially about Bach Nation — the more drama, the better. Lucky for the writers, season 24 is pushing the limits and testing fans' patience, which makes for some great comedy.
On Feb. 1, host J. J. Watt became "Pilot Pat" (sound familiar?), a man who's just looking for love with "30 sobbing Hannahs." The jokes flow more easily than Kelsey's bottle of champagne, resulting in a skit that plays out almost like a real episode.
