Spider-Man Stars Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield Share a Hug

Seeing Spider-Man's Tom Holland Hug Andrew Garfield Is Cute! But Where's Tobey Maguire?

Spider-Man Stars Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield Share a Hug

Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield hung out together, and my world is colliding! The two Spider-Man stars shared a hug at the GQ Men of the Year party on Thursday, and luckily for us, the moment was caught on camera. The interaction was essentially the Spider-Men pointing at each other meme brought to life. Now if only Tobey Maguire were there.

Spider-Man: No Way Home fans have been speculating for months that Garfield and Maguire will appear in the film in a multiverse situation, and this friendly exchange adds some major fuel to the fire. Allegedly, Holland and Garfield just met last night, but I don't think it's the first time they've hung out in front of cameras — but hey, that's just me.

Garfield point-blank denied he's in Spider-Man: No Way Home in a recent interview on the Today show. "Listen, I'm not in the film. I love Spider-Man, I always have, I was so happy to have played the part. I'm so excited to see what they do with the third one," he said. "That's not the diplomatic answer. I really, really mean it . . . I love Tom Holland, I love [director] Jon Watts, I love [producers] Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, and what they've done with those movies and that character. It's an important character to me."

We'll have to wait until Dec. 17 to find out if Garfield is telling the truth. In the meantime, please enjoy this sweet embrace between two of our favourite neighbourhood Spider-Men.
