See What Eleven Has Been Up to in California in the New Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser

Stranger Things season four is officially in production, and we have a new glimpse to hold us over. On 6 Nov., aka Stranger Things Day, Netflix shared a teaser that shed some light on what Eleven and Will have been up to over the last six months. After moving to California and going to a new school, Eleven can't wait to reunite with Mike. "Dear Mike, today is day 185 — I think I have finally adapted," she says over clips of her new life, her school, and the "friends" she's made. The same day, Netflix revealed that the new season won't be out until summer 2022, and we're ready to initiate an early summer holiday.

On 6 May, Netflix shared another quick teaser, which hinted that Eleven might also be taking a trip back to Hawkins National Laboratory. As we see kids running around in a room with shaved heads and hospital gowns, a white-haired man enters the room and tells them he has something "very special" planned for them. The camera then zooms to a room with the number 11 before we get a quick glimpse of Millie Bobby Brown's character.

Netflix previously shared a teaser for season four back in February 2020, and confirmed our suspicions: Jim Hopper is alive! The 50-second clip starts out pretty ominous, showing a snowy scene in Russia where prisoners are forced to brave the bitter cold while being overseen by gun-wielding authorities. As the tense music picks up, the camera slowly approaches one man in particular, who reveals himself to be a bald Jim (David Harbour). So, yes, our favourite Hawkins police chief survived season three. But it certainly looks like he's still in quite a bit of trouble.

During Netflix's first Tudum live event, on 25 Sept., the Stranger Things cast and creators shared another new glimpse at the fourth season, set in Creel House, a haunted Victorian house riddled with dark secrets. The trailer shows a family from the late 1950s moving into their new home and living a seemingly normal life, until the house decides they're no longer welcome. Flash forward to the present day and the Stranger Things crew, including Max, Dustin, Lucas, and Steve, find themselves standing in the shadowy, dust-covered halls of what was once an ordinary home, hinting at a supernatural collision between the past and present.
