ITV2's wintery reality dating show The Cabins [1] is finally back for a second series, after the summer edition of Love Island [2] has finally been and gone. Once again, the show seeks to pair up 12 singletons by giving them just 24 hours to get to know each other and decide if they want to continue sharing a cabin.

In keeping with the likes of Love Island [3], the contestants have few distractions from the outside world whilst getting to know their new partner, but this year, they'll be able to interact with their fellow cabin neighbours, too. Similarly to the last series, the cast of The Cabins is a lot more inclusive than other dating shows and features cast members from all walks of life, so it's a lot more relatable. There also appears to be much more of a concern for the contestants' mental health. Challenges and games in the show are strictly included to help the contestants get to know each other, and they're even allowed to speak to family members and friends during their time away.

This year, the cast includes Scottish twins Timmy and Callum, an athlete from Surrey, and a cruise-ship entertainer from London, and many more — all with their own hidden talents and special skills that we look forward to uncovering over the course of the next few weeks.

24-Year-Old Ben from Portsmouth

Ben is a radar operator in the royal navy, and he's joined the cast of The Cabins because he's bored of social media and small talk. Often misunderstood as an arrogant person because of the way he looks, he's hoping that this experience will help him to meet someone in a more natural way.

26-Year-Old Connor from Aylesbury

Connor is a musical theatre performer and dance teacher from Aylesbury who's hoping to meet the person he can have his first relationship with. "I thought, this is a chance to push myself out there and to try and hopefully find someone and not be old and be alone forever," he told ITV.

27-Year-Old Ben from Buckinghamshire

Ben is an entertainer from Buckinghamshire and he's excited for the experts from The Cabins to help him find his match. Zac Efron [4] is his celebrity crush and he's looking for someone friendly that can be left to their own devices with his friends and family and still have a good time.

30-Year-Old Tina from Tooting

Tina is a PA from Tooting and she truly believes that she is awful at dating. She'd never been single prior to the pandemic and now feels that "Being with someone for 24 hours having
no choice but to get to know them, and leaving the choice of that person in someone
else's hands, I think that's probably the best option for me right now."

29-Year-Old Joel from North London

Joel is a professional basketball "dunker" and an influencer and model from North London. Previously, he's struggled to find a partner that can accept his jet-setter lifestyle, and feel secure about the number of people that slide into his DMs on social media.

24-Year-Old Rebecca from Barnsley

Rebecca works in admin for a financial advice team, and she's hoping that her The Cabins experience will help her to find "actual love", and stop her from wasting her time. She's looking for a male version of herself to have a good time with, and hopefully one that isn't a bad kisser. Seems doable . . .

23-Year-Old Warwick from Stoke-on-Trent

Warwick is a car salesman from Stoke-on-Trent who's hoping that The Cabins will help him to "find a wifey". He's looking for someone to keep him grounded, simmer him down, and someone who isn't afraid to tell him off when he needs it. We suspect he'll be able to find his match.

26-Year-Old Eden from Leeds

Eden is a beauty therapist from Leeds who hasn't quite met her prince charming just yet. That said, she's got pretty high hopes for The Cabins, saying that "I've taken my chance and put my faith in the experts. Fingers crossed I'll be coming out of there with an engagement ring!"

25-Year-Old Richie from Burton-On-Trent

Nursing assistant Richie is from Burton-On-Trent and he's joined the cast of The Cabins because he wants to meet someone in an unconventional way. He's quite into spirituality, so finding someone that's on his wavelength in that respect is definitely on his list.

20-Year-Old Denni from Hertfordshire

Denni is a makeup artist and office manager from Hertfordshire and she's joined The Cabins to find the love of her live. Not a big fan of dating apps and the dating environment in general, Denni's hoping to find someone that can be her ride or die.

18-Year-Old Amy from Scotland

Junior hairdresser Amy is from Ayr, Scotland and she's looking forward to meeting someone outside of dating apps, and most importantly, outside of Ayr. Her celebrity crush is Joey Essex, and she's been described by her friends as a bit of a drama queen, so we wish her luck in her cabin!

25-Year-Old Jessica from London

Jessica is a cruise-ship entertainer from London and she's joined The Cabins in a bid to find a man that is consistent. She loves a go-getter and she's been described by her friends as an Energiser Bunny that never runs out of batteries, so we're excited to see what her match makes of that.

26-Year-Old Jad from South-East London

Jad is a car salesman from South-East London who's finally ready for his first real date. His special skills involve beans on toast, karaoke, and Earth, Wind, & Fire, so we look forward to seeing how those three things manifest on The Cabins.

23-Year-Old Prince from Kettering

Prince is a salesman based in Kettering who's looking to find love the old-fashioned way. His ideal partner is someone that's touchy-feely and has banter, and he's hoping that his next relationship will also be his last.

21-Year-Old Roxanne from South-East London

Roxanne currently works in recruitment, and she's hoping to get some assistance in picking the right match for her. She's also looking to find someone that can match her level of ambition, so here's hoping that she finds it.

25-Year-Old Taryck from Devon

Taryck is an estate agent from Sidmouth, Devon and he's joined this year's cast of The Cabins so that he can put his love life in someone else's hands. Humour is at the top of his list when it comes to finding a potential partner, so he's looking forward to meeting someone that can make him laugh and take him on an adventure.

26-Year-Old George from Leicester

George is a salon owner from Leicester — if you couldn't already tell by his '90s frosted tips. Done with online dating, he's looking forward to finding love in real life on The Cabins instead of trying to do it over a screen, and we wish him the best of luck.

23-Year-Old Harry from Scotland

Harry is an entrepreneur from Scotland who says he's "never really found love before, or anyone that loved me back", which admittedly breaks our hearts a little. In terms of his ideal match, he's said that "I am happy to be matched with either a man or a woman. In life I attract personalities, it's not about gender." We're looking forward to seeing what comes of his journey.

28-Year-Old Corey from South London

Corey's taken a break from the kids activity centre he currently works at to find love on The Cabins. Previously, he feels he's gone for attraction over personality, and he's keen to not make that mistake again. His celebrity crushes range from Ashanti to JLo and he's looking forward to finding someone that he has some chemistry with.

19-Year-Old Megan from Surrey

Megan is an athlete and beautician from Surrey who's looking to meet someone that she doesn't have to "dim herself down with" in order to make them feel comfortable. Though she claims she doesn't have a celebrity crush, she told ITV that "I think the way that Tommy Fury treats Molly-Mae is so nice. They always look like they are having fun so I'll probably go with Tommy Fury."

22-Year-Old Timmy from Scotland

Also a university student from Scotland, Timmy hopes to find someone that's ambitious, kind-hearted and ideally, a little bit like his celebrity crush Elizabeth Olsen. He thinks he's single because he doesn't "go out of his way to look for love or meet people", and clearly, that's changed now.

22-Year-Old Callum from Scotland

Callum is a university student from Fife, Scotland. He's on The Cabins alongside his twin brother Timmy, and as someone that rarely goes out of his way to go on dates, he's hoping that the experience will help to introduce him to someone new. "I kind of want someone to fall into my lap. Let it happen by chance and it's clearly not been working, so here I am," he told ITV.

26-Year-Old Chris from London

Chris is a media and marketing account manager from London, who hopes to find a partner that's just as adventurous and ambitious as he is. In terms of his celebrity crush, Bradley Cooper [5] is top of the list, and where hidden talents are concerned, Chris told ITV that he's had a very musical past. He's been playing classical music since the age of 8, and it sounds like he's only gotten better since, so we look forward to watching his talents unfold.

26-Year-Old Amir from Manchester

Amir is an optometrist from Manchester who joined the cast of The Cabins because he's never really had a proper date before, and thinks it's time to find the one. In terms of his special skills, he's an avid baker, so if The Cabins doesn't quite work out, then there's a high chance we'll see him on The Great British Bake Off [6].
