The Masked Singer season five kicked off on March 10, and we can already tell that this season is going to be completely different. In addition to a new host — Niecy Nash is temporarily stepping in for Nick Cannon — there are also a few new twists and formats. The show has added wild card rounds, where a new masked celebrity will be introduced and possibly unseat another contestant in that week's competition. Of course, nothing could prepare us for the biggest twist of all: the first unmasked singer. Instead of being real-life celebrity, it ended up being a famous Muppet. Yep, you read that right.
