Netflix's holiday movie schedule just got even merrier thanks to the addition of The Princess Switch [1] 3. The film starring Vanessa Hudgens [2] was first announced back in 2020 [3], and now POPSUGAR has an exclusive first look at it. Officially titled The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star, the upcoming instalment in the rom-com franchise will bring Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy (both played by Hudgens) back together as they team up with Margaret's look-alike cousin Fiona (also played by Hudgens) to track down a jewel thief. That's right, Hudgens is pulling triple duty again. In addition to the official plot and title, we also have the release date and first images. The Princess Switch 3 Plot
The official log line from Netflix reads: "When a priceless relic is stolen, Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy enlist the help of Margaret's audacious look-alike cousin Fiona who teams with a dashing, mysterious man from her past to retrieve it . . . rekindling the sparks of a tantalizing Christmas romance and resulting in a very unexpected switch."
The Princess Switch 3 Cast and Production Team
Once again, Vanessa Hudgens [5] will be pulling triple duty as she plays Queen Margaret, Princess Stacy, and Fiona. Remy Hii (pictured above) also joins the cast as Peter Maxwell alongside returning cast members Sam Palladio as Prince Edward and Nick Sagar as Prince Kevin.
Based on characters created by Robin Bernheim Burger and Megan Metzger, the film will be directed by Mike Rohl and written by Burger. Hudgens will also produce alongside Brad Krevoy with Katrina Stagner, Steve Berman, Brian Donovan, AJ Riach, Rohl, Burger, Amanda Phillips, and Eric Jarboe executive producing.

The film will release globally on Netflix on Nov. 18.
