The Voice: Watch Victor and Gean's Knockout Performance

Blake Shelton Used This Voice Performance as a Chance to Completely Roast Nick Jonas

In addition to all the stellar performances on The Voice, one of the highlights of this season has been watching coaches Blake Shelton and Nick Jonas hilariously poke fun at each other. During the Knockouts on Monday night, John Legend's team members Victor Solomon and Gean Garcia went head-to-head as they sang The Temptations' "My Girl" and Ed Sheeran's "Afterglow," and it provoked some witty banter from Shelton. While Kelly Clarkson applauded the singers on their incredible talent, Shelton took it as an opportunity to completely roast Jonas. "I also keep thinking you're on Nick's team, because he's hit his button so many times for you, and you refuse to choose him as your coach," Shelton teased, causing the rest of the coaches to burst into laughter. "You're such a jerk!" Clarkson laughed.

During a Q&A panel on April 13, the coaches previously teased each other when POPSUGAR asked what they're most looking forward to about having Ariana Grande on the show next season. "I'm excited about Ariana joining the show because it's somebody new for me to beat," Shelton teased. "Nick is the easiest coach I've ever beat in 20 seasons of doing this show. The easiest defeat of my career was Nick Jonas. So I'm looking for a challenge." Of course, Jonas quipped by saying he's rooting for Grande to beat the country singer. "I'm so excited to see her beat Blake," he laughed. "It's going to be great for me." Watch their hilarious interaction above.
