And what better way to open the show than with a monologue from Tom Hanks [2]? The 63-year-old actor, aka "America's dad," kicked things off with a health update after he and wife Rita Wilson tested positive for COVID-19 [3] back in March. "My wife and I, we're doing fine, we're doing great," he said. "We're hunkered down like all of us should be. In fact, this suit — this is the first time I've worn anything other than sweatpants since March 11." Relatable.
