Unpregnant Movie Trailer

Unpregnant Is a Buddy Road Comedy With an Unlikely Objective: Abortion

The latest YA book-to-film adaptation is arriving just in time for some perfect fall viewing. HBO Max's latest feature film Unpregnant — based on the novel of the same name — hits the streamer Sept. 10, and it's taking Barbie Ferreira and Haley Lu Richardson on a wild, three-day ride as they take on complicated friendships and difficult decisions on the road to adulthood.

Holding onto a pregnancy test in a bathroom stall, eagerly awaiting the tiny blue line to not show up, Type A 17-year-old Veronica (Richardson) is suddenly faced with a life decision she never imagined she'd have to make. As she decides to embark on a trip to get an abortion, she enlists her ex-best friend (Ferreira) to help her on a wild 1,000-mile journey to New Mexico — along the way realising that one of the most important decisions you make in life is choosing who your friends are. Check out the trailer above before the film hits HBO Max in September.
