It's always a treat when former High School Musical castmates revisit songs [1] from the Disney classic. Vanessa Hudgens [2] is one of the latest to take a trip down memory lane, as she recently crooned a socially distanced version of "Breaking Free" with Broadway star Max Clayton. Hudgens, who plays Gabriella Montez in the film [3], initially shared a clip of her performing the tune as a solo [4]. But as soon as her friend wanted in on the fun, she was totally game. "I LOVE @maxmclayton and u probably will too after u watch this lol," Hudgens captioned an Instagram teaser [5]. "He did a duet and it's hilarious." The pair has previously teamed up for an HSM [6] mini-concert, singing "Gotta Go My Own Way" [7] back in April.
Hudgens recently reconnected with her HSM costars for the Disney Family Singalong performance of "We're All in This Together [8]." Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale [9], Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel were some of the other former Wildcats featured in the special [10]. Now, please excuse us while we go rewatch all three High School Musical movies [11].
