Everyone's favourite cat-and-mouse duo are back for a brand-new adventure! After one too many fights gets them kicked out by their owners, Tom and Jerry decide to try going their separate ways but end up crossing paths when a young hotel staffer (Chloë Grace Moretz) hires Tom to get rid of the mouse that's taken up residence in a luxury hotel — Jerry. Michael Peña, Colin Jost, and Ken Jeong also star, and archival recordings will be used to bring back three of the original voices of Tom and Jerry: William Hanna, Mel Blanc, and June Foray, with Frank Welker rounding out the voice cast.

The Many Saints of Newark

Set in New Jersey in the 1960s and 1970s, this crime drama is set against the tensions between Black and Italian communities in Newark, where riots break out and a mob family rises in power. Oh, and it's also a prequel to the iconic HBO drama The Sopranos. Alessandro Nivola, Jon Bernthal, and Vera Farmiga play the older generation of the mafia, while Leslie Odom Jr. and Corey Stoll play their rivals in their New Jersey community. Michael Gandolfini is set to play a young version of Tony Soprano, originally played by his late father, James Gandolfini.

The sci-fi memory flick reunites The Greatest Showman costars Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson. Jackman plays Nick, a loner and veteran who, in a global-warming-altered near future, offers clients the chance to revisit any memory they want, using special technology. After meeting Mae (Ferguson), he starts to come out of his shell, until another client's memories seem to suggest her involvement in several violent crimes. Thandie Newton, Daniel Wu, and Cliff Curtis also star.

The third entry in the current iteration of the Godzilla franchise stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, and Rebecca Hall, among a large ensemble. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It

The third instalment in the Conjuring horror series will again star Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. It's based on the real trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, the first defendant in US history to claim demonic possession as a defence, insisting a demon possessed a young boy and forced him to commit murder.

In the Heights

Based on Lin-Manuel Miranda's other Tony-winning musical, In the Heights follows a single weekend in the lives of a group of friends and neighbours in the New York City neighbourhood of Washington Heights. A bodega owner struggles with deciding whether to leave New York, an overachiever returns home from college with bad news, a hairdresser dreams of moving downtown, and romances start and stop — plus, there's the small matter of a winning lottery ticket. The movie stars Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Melissa Barrera, and Leslie Grace, with Jimmy Smits, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz, and Miranda himself among the supporting cast.

Space Jam: A New Legacy

The sequel to the iconic Space Jam will again pair up basketball stars with Hollywood actors and all your favourite Looney Tunes cartoon characters. This time, LeBron James gets to star, enlisting the help of his cartoon pals to rescue his kidnapped son by popping into classic Warner Bros. movies and winning a basketball game against a team of villains. Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green play the other main human characters, while a slew of NBA and WNBA stars are set to make guest appearances.

The Suicide Squad

DC is semi-rebooting its Suicide Squad franchise after the negative reaction to 2016's first instalment. Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, and Viola Davis reprise their roles as Harley Quinn, Rick Flag, Captain Boomerang, and Amanda Waller from the original movie. They're joined by Idris Elba's Bloodsport and John Cena's Peacemaker as they go up against multiple supervillains, including The Thinker, played by former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi. Notably absent: Jared Leto's polarizing Joker. HBO Max is also reportedly developing a spinoff series for Cena.

Judas and the Black Messiah

Daniel Kaluuya, the breakout star of Get Out and Black Panther, plays Black Panther Party Chairman Fred Hampton in this 1960s biographical drama. The movie centres on the betrayal of William O'Neal (played by Kaluuya's Get Out co-star Lakeith Stanfield), a petty criminal who became an FBI informant, giving them the information that led to the infamous and deadly raid on the group. The movie also stars Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, and Ashton Sanders, with Martin Sheen as FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

Based on a novel by Michael Koryta, Those Who Wish Me Dead is a modern-day Western crime thriller, centreed on a teenage boy who witnesses a brutal murder in the Montana wilderness. He's placed in witness protection and enrolled in a wilderness skills survival program, where he tries to hide from the killers pursuing him. Making matters even worse? A wildfire begins to rage out of control, threatening everything and everyone in its path. The movie has a cast full of big names, including Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Game of Thrones's Aidan Gillen, and The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal.
